    Maria Gavouneli, President of the National Human Rights Commission and Nikolaos Papaspyrou, Professor of Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Athens, explored the legal framework of the National Action Plan, focusing on how it enacts the constitutional mandate of Article 21, paragraph 6, ensuring people with disabilities’ autonomy and full participation.

  • Empowering Individuals with Disabilities
    Nena Chronopoulou, Co-founder of the 4AMEA Supportive and Social Network, shared her personal journey and emphasized the network's mission to ensure future autonomy for children with disabilities. The event also featured an experiential program, "Liberty with a Guide Dog," allowing the audience to experience firsthand how a guide dog assists a blind person in navigating their world.
